All you Jujutsu Kaisan fan's will love to know that, in Jujufes 2024 event Japan, it has been announced that a new anime movie (compilation movie) based on the "Jujutsu Kaisen hidden inventory/premature death arc" will be released in Japan in 2025.

On October 4th, 2024 this year, the official guidebook for "Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory/Premature Death & Shibuya Incident" will be released. This guidebook will contain the setting materials for the "Hidden Inventory/Premature Death" and "Shibuya Incident" arcs as well as the movie staff and cast.

Crunchyroll describes the story of the first arc of season 2, Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc Movie, as follows:
"The story follows second-year students Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto as they are tasked with escorting young Riko Amanai to Master Tengen. But their mission to protect the Star Plasma Vessel becomes a major challenge when a man who is not a magician tries to kill them. During this mission, their friendship is on the verge of turning into a bitter rivalry, which also seals their fates—one will become the most powerful magician in the world, and the other the most dangerous curse user."
While the JUJUTSU KAISEN manga may be coming to an end soon, there's still a lot left for anime fans to look forward to. Next year, season 2 will get a new lease of life when it's released as a compilation film!
According to an announcement on the anime's official social media, the show's Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc will be cut and released as a theatrical film in 2025. A poster has also been released along with the news.
